The objective of the 100-hour internship portion of our Chef's Training Program is to give students a chance to apply the skills they’ve acquired and continue the learning process under the supervision of a culinary professional in a real-life kitchen environment.
Because our students learn how to use the medicinal and nutritional aspects of food in addition to acquiring the skills necessary to become chefs, they’re able to carve out highly relevant career paths. They find employment in such areas as:
Many of our grads are entrepreneurs and have started their own businesses (see Related Sites). Some use our program as an adjunct to what they're currently doing. Doctors, nutritionists, nurses and fitness instructors have all enhanced their practices by incorporating the knowledge they’ve acquired here at NGI.
