Joining the Chef’s Training Program usually starts by contacting our knowledgeable Admissions Team. They are available to answer your questions, discuss your specific needs and assist you from enrollment to completion. We encourage candidates for admission to schedule a personal or phone interview prior to enrollment. Attending a career information Open House will further clarify the focus of the program and the philosophy of The Natural Gourmet Institute for Health & Culinary Arts.
The following items are required to complete the application
process:
- A completed Natural Gourmet Cookery School Application form
- Application essay
- Application fee
- Two letters of recommendation
- Documentation of high school, G.E.D., or college graduation
- Current resume
- Recent photo
- A signed copy of the Enrollment Agreement and Educational Survey
(upon acceptance)
- Tuition down payment (within two weeks of acceptance)

International Students
The Natural Gourmet Institute for Health & Culinary Arts is approved by the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service to enroll International Students, who must meet all admissions requirements. With the application for admission, an international student must also submit proof of financial responsibility either with a completed Affidavit of Support form (INS Form I-34) or other documentation (Bank statements, etc.) showing the specific monetary amount available for student’s support. The Admissions Department will issue the M-1 Student Visa Application (I-20 Form) to the student upon formal acceptance to The Chef’s Training Program.
